Alison Romero

Alison Romero is a Mexican-Canadian artist based in Toronto. She studied Visual Arts at York University and the University of Leeds, with a classical foundation in oil painting. Her work explores ideas of existentialism through the different lenses of philosophy, psychology, and identity, often infused with a touch of slapstick humour. Through whimsical imagery and playful storytelling, Romero invites viewers to engage with complex ideas in unexpected and relatable ways.
