Patty Zuver was born and raised in Washington DC. She received a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University. She also studied Printmaking at Loughborough College of Art in England. She currently lives in Toronto.
Through painting and experimental photography, Patty Zuver creates immersive environments that contemplate the phenomena of nature- subtle shifts of light through time, the effect of light on water and the changing moods of horizons. In her landscapes she explores ideas of longing, connection to Place and loss of Home. With her images of horizons, she offers up hope and possibility.
Ms. Zuver’s work has been shown in the US, Canada and England.
